When we started looking for merchandise that would help set the scene for Mod Pod, Fatboy’s® were our first purchase. We wanted Mod Pod to represent fun, versitility and style, and these were just the ticket! The company started in the Netherlands in 1999 with the goal of designing unconventional, stylistic lifestyle products for the whole family. The beanbags were such a success that they are now global.

The top selling Fatboy® is the original. It is an adult-sized beanbag that fits well into any interior. This beanbag will knock your sox off with its comfort and style. We almost always have some in stock to try before you buy.

Why we Love Fatboy® the Original:

1. Versitility is its middle name. Prop it agianst a wall or free standing as a lounge chair or turn it sideways to make a low backed loveseat. Give the chair an extra turn and you have a great gaming chair. The original measures 71 inches long and 51 inches wide making it the perfect size for a nap or an extra bed for a friend.
2. Fatboy’s® are practically indestructable. They are made from strong nylon material that is water and dirt resistant. In the store we just use a little soap and water and a nail brush if needed for clean up.
3. Functional and stylish! With 25 colors and Marimekko patterns your bound to find the right look for your room. Black is most popular because it is so transitional.
4. These Fatboy’s® aren’t just for kids. Fatboy’s ® are filled with small firm polystyrene beads that form to the contour of your body. You won’t sink to the bottom of this bean bag. I like to tell people it is the beanbag you can get out of, just ask by 81 year old grandpa that loves to sit in it.
